Swing Jazz Band

"Sound of 1920s in Paris !"

Welcome

WHO ARE WE?

The works of the legendary guitarist Jean "Django" Reinhardt can be considered the beginnings
of the musical genre of gypsy jazz. The most famous musical formation created by him was the band Quintette du Hot Club de France, and the most famous collaboration was with famous French jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli. Inspired by the masters of the genre, the newly formed ensemble
Hot 20 Strings creates their own, surprising arrangements of Polish and foreign hits, keeping them
in the gypsy jazz style.

Ada Kwaśniewicz - violin

in both her musical and private life.

Mateusz - guitar

He is governed by two opposite attitudes - a large dose of slack in life and an extremely serious approach to music. His favorite moments are those spent in the privacy of his room, testing his technical and musical guitar limits.

Reviews

Michał Zabłocki, poet and director

‘Hot Strings are on fire when they play. And they are so hot, the skull is smoking. The best for the fuel and energy crisis. And the violin frontwoman... Well. It's not just to listen. You also watch!’

Natalia Dolińska, project manager

‘The Hot Strings team transferred my wedding on the barge to the shores of the Parisian Seine. The original musical setting created an unique atmosphere, and hassle-free collaboration with manager Ada made the organization a pure pleasure.
Highly recommended!’

Guitar History Museum, Katowice

‘The Guitar History Museum recommends the band Hot Strings Arguments: playing in style both musically and instrumentally (the so-called gypsy guitars) and the use of i.a. Polish melodies. The music performed by the band contains a lot of energy and creates a cheerful mood. Professionals are also not deprived of personal charm, culture and beauty.’

Marek Piekarczyk, vocalist and song writer

‘Hot Strings means lightness, feeling and precision in creating the perfect atmosphere for each composition they craft. Ada, the band's violinist, is not only a master improviser, but also a graceful performer on the stage, whom the audience appreciates from the first sound and smile. Her blues notes woven with finesse into improvisations sound natural and tasty... ‘
